Tonight I hosted a welcome back/goodbye Lindsey party, and I think it really went great. Lindsey and I go way back (she was on my DTS) and she is just passing through Vancouver on her way to the Phillipines to be a midwife. It was so great to see her again, and hang out with a bunch of the 'old crowd'. We played catch phrase and ate chocolate fondue with lots of yummy things to dip in it. Henri, who came over to help before the party, and I had a bit of a fiasco with one of the fondues, but a quick trip to the store, a little help from my mom (over the phone), and a half carton of heavy cream, and we were rolling!!! mmmm...so yummy...
