I have been introduced to something even better then ebay... it's called Craig's List. I am sure most of you have heard of it, but in case you havent checked it out yet, go to www.craigslist.com and click on your city, in the right column. There you will find not only amazing free stuff (couches, washer, dryer, etc) but tons of local stuff that people are selling for really good prices. And, you can even barter with them a bit.
